In keeping with biologically-inspired design, ROBO MONSTER uses a very large number of sensors, some of them unique. |
| |

Robo Monster processed primary sensory data into a series of independent maps using distributed computing techniques |
| |

ROBO MONSTER not only senses its environment - it acts on it. A set of unique effectors allow the UGV to 'take a closer look' by manipulating the surrounding environment in non-destructive fashion |
| |

ROBO MONSTER uses behavior-based machine intelligence to navigate through its environment, and to create a specific "personality" interface. This biology-inspired 'tude makes it easier for non-technical personnel to understand, operate, and predict system behavior. |
